Full of fall flavors, this healthy granola is sweetened with applesauce and honey. It is great by itself, or sprinkled on yogurt or ice cream.
We eat A LOT of granola in our house. While I do have some favorite store-bought granolas, I like making my own because it is much cheaper, and I can control what goes into it. And what is better right now than apple pie granola? Now that Labor Day has come and gone, I feel like fall is on the horizon. Fall is one of my favorite times of year. I love going apple picking and making all kinds of fall-inspired recipes. While I haven’t gone apple picking yet, I did get started on making some fall-inspired recipes, and this granola is one of them!
I love how easy this recipe is! The hardest part is having to stir it every 15 minutes, but the end result is totally worth it! I love packaging granola in mason jars with a cute fabric scrap or ribbon added and giving them as gifts around the holidays. That is, if I don’t eat it all myself! 🙂
