This unsweetened applesauce recipe comes together in just minutes. Sweetened naturally, it has no added sugars, and is a healthy applesauce that your family will love!
1/2 cup water
1/4 cup orange juice (from 1 small orange)
3/4 teaspoon cinnamon
1 teaspoon vanilla
Peel and slice apples. Add them to the instant pot with all the other ingredients, and set to pressure cook for 8 minutes. Once it’s done, manually release the pressure and then mash the mixture or puree it with an immersion blender. Enjoy!
For the crockpot, follow the instructions above and then cook on low for 4 hours in a slow cooker.
For the stovetop, bring the ingredients to a boil, then simmer for 45 minutes to cook.
