They contain the inflammatory linoleic acid, which is linked to cardiovascular disease, cancer, dementia, and other health issues.
How do nut and seed oils get extracted?
Add an appropriate solvent, such as propanone, ethanol, or alcohol, and stir to dissolve the oil. Filter the mixture to produce an oil solution. Leave the solution in the sun to evaporate the propanone, leaving the oil.
