Superhuman Strength – 2008 is the only year in which all four No.1 seeds advanced to the Final 4. North Carolina, UCLA, Memphis, and Kansas were those teams. Eight championship games featured a matchup between a No.1 seed: North Carolina defeated Michigan in 1993 Connecticut defeated Duke in 1999.
