This easy fruit dip recipe only takes a few ingredients and 5 minutes to make, and is a perfect party appetizer or afternoon snack. As a bonus, it is allergy friendly – nut free, dairy free, gluten free.
My family loves dips of all kinds, and I wanted an easy fruit dip recipe that I could use as a snack with some fruit, or serve on a snack board with all kinds of snack foods. It works equally well for parties or as an everyday food, and it so simple to put together. I hope you and your family love it as much as mine does!
HOW TO MAKE THIS EASY FRUIT DIP:
All you need to do is mix together the ingredients: coco whip, coconut yogurt, maple syrup, cinnamon, and you’re done!
TIPS FOR MAKING THIS RECIPE:
- Make sure the yogurt isn’t too runny, or the dip will be runny. If you need to thicken up your yogurt, you can mix in 2 tablespoons of tapioca starch.
- If you’d like to make your own coconut whipped cream instead of using Coco Whip, take a can of refrigerated coconut cream (or 2 cans coconut milk), scoop out the cream, and mix on high speed with 1 tablespoon maple syrup and 1 teaspoon of vanilla until light and fluffy.
- This is great made ahead of time, and can be stored in the fridge until you’re ready to serve it!
WHAT IS GOOD TO DIP STRAWBERRIES IN?
This dip! I think this dip is great for apples, pears, berries, grapes, and even pretzels or graham crackers. If you’d like a chocolate dip, I love this chocolate hazelnut butter. You could also do straight-up melted chocolate for dipping strawberries. There are tons of dip options out there, and I love them all!
HOW TO MAKE A SNACK BOARD USING THIS EASY FRUIT DIP RECIPE:
When I say snack board, I’m thinking of a huge cutting board or charcuterie board filled with snacks that you could serve at a party, or serve to your hungry family. 🙂 Start with a big board and fill it with your favorite snacks. I love to do a combination of salty and sweet, so you could put a bowl of this dip on the board, along with a variety of fruits, salty snacks like pretzels, popcorn, and nuts and also fill it in with a few “treats” if you want. It can be anything you want it to be!
