GARLIC AND HERB SEASONING FOR CHICKEN

The combination of garlic and herbs makes the perfect seasoning blend. This garlic and herb seasoning is so versatile and can be used for chicken, potatoes, vegetables, or whatever your heart desires! Bonus: It leaves your house smelling like Thanksgiving – what could be better than that? 😉

WHY I LOVE THIS RECIPE

There’s nothing I love more than roasting a whole chicken. The skin gets extra crispy, and the meat is SO flavorful. This is one of my favorite seasonings for chicken (and potatoes!), and it couldn’t be easier to make. Not only could you use it for chicken, but it’s great on plain noodles or zoodles with olive oil, it pairs perfectly with vegetables, and you can even use it on your Thanksgiving turkey. It is wonderfully versatile!

HOW TO MAKE GARLIC AND HERB SEASONING

It couldn’t be simpler, just combine all the herbs and spices, mix them together, and you’re good to go! I love to fill a half-pint mason jar with this seasoning and then keep it in my spice cabinet. I use it all the time – it is great added to pasta, meat, and vegetables. It is great for flavoring gravies and sauces as well. I end up using it on so many different things, so it’s nice to make a big batch so its ready when I need it. 🙂

TIPS FOR MAKING HERB SEASONING FOR CHICKEN

  • Substitute any herbs or spices you think work with savory flavors – marjoram and rosemary would be great with this blend!
  • If you anticipate using this frequently, consider tripling the recipe and store it in an airtight container.
  • For organic herbs and spices that are gluten-free, I love Simply Organic spices and seasonings.
